Sketches + Wireframes
Ideate

To accommodate both rushing customers and staff- creating an 'order for pickup' and a 'reserve for later' feature.

Quick wireframes to visualize the ideas explored in sketches.

More explorations, now working around content.
Visual Identity
Design
I wanted to highlight the 'back-east' aspect of Back East Bagels, so I explored vintage design elements and classic East Coast motifs.

The back east store has a subway tile feature!

When it came to colors, I opted for a palette that kept things fun and friendly. This was to maintain the approachability valued in a small business- while still elevating the visual identity.

In-Stock Journey
Click through the reworked website and go through the online ordering process!
*I prioritized the mobile site, as it receives the highest traffic, with plans to expand into desktop later on.
3 different pathways

Go through what it looks like to reserve for another day, as requested by regulars, commuters, and those with dietary restrictions.
