The Industrial Designers Society of America has been in existence since 1965. IDSA’s presence helps strengthen the industrial design profession as a whole and contributes to the boundless impact of design within business, culture
and society.

IDSA at ASU is Arizona State’s student chapter that connects students and professionals in the field. As well as hosting industrial design-related workshops and socials.

My role as Graphics/Social Media Officer is to create and advertise IDSA media. Other responsibilities include printing and posting physical posters, making social media posts (Instagram, Discord, etc.), and taking event photos/videos.
Following covid, IDSA’s student participation has been at an all-time
low.
This semester we wanted to focus on re-engaging students and
provide a space to socialize and collaborate with other students.
As SM Officer, my role was to tackle this issue by creating engaging,
eye-catching designs that would create excitement and bring in
students.

Because of the diverse type of content I would be making - I felt it would be best to stick to one bold color and clear typefaces.
